Peak Season:
Since it has over 300 sunshine days, people taking flights to Rockhampton in Queensland are able to enjoy outdoor activities all year round. ‘Rocky’, as locals call it, boasts spectacular natural attractions such as Riverbank Parklands, the Capricorn Coast and Great Keppel Island. If you want to go further afield, there are regular bus services to the pleasure spots of the Capricorn Coast, including the seaside towns of Yeppoon and Emu Park.
