Wander around the ancient war site of Jallianwala Gardens, where there are still bullet marks. The city neighbours the Pakistan border; you can visit the Wagah Border Ceremony every evening, 30min before sunset. Afterwards, revisit the Golden Temple at night to see its light upon the lake.
