Take off was an hour late, but for good reason as the plane was held to allow the transfer of late arrivals to LAX. Plane was packed, but loaded quite efficiently and had plenty of overhead space for carried luggage (at least in my area). Crew had no personality or hospitality. The stewards had an easy day. Handed out a sandwich "dinner" one hour into the flight and an egg or pancake breakfast before landing. I dozed once during the 8 hour flight, but never saw a steward throughout the flight. Obviously, I saw no one offering water. The "food" was terrible! Air Tahiti has little competition so no improvements are expected. The website of Air Tahiti is ridiculous in this day-and-age. Won't even go into the issues and lack of response.
