The gateway to the Southern Kimberley region in West Australia, Broome is a heritage pearling town with two distinct seasons; wet and dry. Broome International Airport (BME) is located less than 1 km from the town centre. It is possible to walk into town from the airport. If you prefer to take public transport, taxis are available outside the domestic terminal. Check with your accommodation provider before you fly if they have a courtesy shuttle bus. There are rental cars for hire inside the terminal.
