Ryanair and easyJet are the main airlines that provide direct flights to Magaluf. You might occasionally find another but those are the major 2. As they are both budget airlines don’t expect a fancy experience onboard, however, overall it won’t be bad at all. Ryanair do offer cheap flights to Magaluf but during the Summer they also drastically increase the price of checked-in luggage (to the point where sometimes it is more expensive than the ticket), so keep an eye on that to avoid adding additional costs to your flight tickets.
Once you’ve booked your flights to Magaluf you should look into transport options from the airport. You’ll fly into Palma de Mallorca airport, as Magaluf itself doesn’t have its own airport, and you are slightly limited on options. Option one is to jump into a taxi which you’ll find outside of the arrivals Terminal. These aren’t cheap though and you’ll be looking in the region of around 30-40 Euros for the trip. If there are a few of you then this can actually work out cheaper by splitting the fare. You can rent a car but this can be more hassle than it’s worth unless you plan to drive around a lot. The only other option you have is to pre-arrange for a shuttle to collect you. After you’ve secured your flight tickets you can research different shuttle companies online, there are loads. On average you’ll find the price between 15 – 25 Euros per person, so if you’re travelling alone it’ll be cheaper than a taxi.
