Checking in took way too long. A 30 minutes delay on a morning flight isn't great. Ok it was a Monday morning and extra staff could (and should) have been deployed. The flight was good, the staff was helpful and friendly. Retrieving the luggage at Hobart should have been easy. A very long way for our luggage was how our patience has been rewarded.

Original flight from Brisbane to Melbourne was cancelled. Given this Brisbane to Sydney trip as only alternate. Meant I missed spending 6hrs with my dying mother. Delays all the way through the airport then a crappy flight to Sydney ( for a 1.5hr layover). Poor form Virgin. Customer service is no longer important at Virgin.
