In the United Kingdom, Cheapflights Ltd. was ranked in the Microsoft Sunday Times Tech Track 100 survey of the fastest-growing UK private technology firms for the sixth year running. Cheapflights is the only company in the history of the award to have achieved this distinction.

Cheapflights Ltd launches its newest travel search website. Cheapflights.com.au serves Australia and New Zealand and joins Cheapflights' other sites - Cheapflights.co.uk for the UK and Ireland, Cheapflights.com for the US, Cheapflights.ca for Canada and Cheapflights.de for Germany. 

Speaking about the launch, Mo Bulbrook, Director and Head of International, said: “Even though the site was brought to you by “whinging pommies”, Cheapflights believes Aussies and Kiwis couldn't give a XXXX if it leads to better flight prices. We are therefore very pleased to be able to introduce Cheapflights.com.au to our family of sites. Given our websites’ popularity with travelers in Europe and North America, it is logical for us to offer a price search and comparison site “Down Under”.

Heather Roy, ACT New Zealand List MP, writing on her blog, welcomes Cheapflights.com.au to Australia/New Zealand and lauds the site for providing services that are "very useful for families living on tight budgets". High praise from high places indeed.
