Christopher Martin
Chief Technology Officer, Cheapflights Media
Christopher Martin joined the Company in January 2007 as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) charged with overseeing a program of heavy investment in back-end technology and redesign work leading to the relaunch of Cheapflights Media's UK, US and Canadian sites. The new technology provides unprecedented access to flight deals and to travel-related proprietary information to enable consumers to research and plan their travel. It also provides a common code platform to facilitate Cheapflights Media's planned further international expansion. Christopher has more than 20 years of experience in leading consumer-focused technology teams. Previously, Christopher’s positions included Chief Technology Officer of eBuyer.com; leading Production and Development for AskJeeves.com in Europe; Chief Technology Officer for Orchestream plc; and a variety of software technology roles at IBM. Christopher earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Brunel University, England. In 2008 he was named a UK Top 10 Chief Information Officer in the “Retail & Leisure” sector by Silicon.com.
